What is Aeroseal and How Does It Work?

- Application & Sealing: The sealant is blown under pressure into the ductwork. As this air-suspended plastic polymer travels through the ducts, it encounters leaks, cracks, and gaps—even those as small as a pinhole. The polymer particles are designed to build up at the edges of these leak points, effectively “plugging” the opening without coating the entire interior of the duct.
- Computer Monitoring: The entire process is monitored in real-time by a computer, which precisely measures the amount of leakage before and during the sealing process. The system ensures only the leaks are sealed, leaving the main airflow unimpeded.
