- Handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage purchase orders, job costing entries, and vendor payments
- Oversee AR collections tracking, and payment follow-up
- Process weekly payroll or coordinate with payroll provider
- Support month-end and year-end close in collaboration with leadership
- Generate and organize financial reports for management review
- Prepare and track W-9s, COIs, and 1099s
- Assist with tax filings and audit preparation in partnership with external CPA
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a service or construction-based business
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital file organization
- Familiarity with job costing, PO creation, and service industry accounting
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Professional, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software is a plus
